Central inner-city location in close proximity to the Vienna State Opera, Albertina and Burggarten. Building / Architecture: Former archducal chancellery building dating from 1914, converted into a museum by **the next ENTERprise Architects**. Historic exterior appearance combined with contemporary museum architecture inside, featuring a central hall, open galleries, staircases, staggered levels and clear sightlines. Exhibition area: approx. **1,500 sqm across three levels**. Additional spaces include smaller presentation rooms, an event area, a Creative Studio with terrace, and a sculpture / courtyard area. Visual Character: Combination of a historic Viennese courtyard, modern museum architecture, bright exhibition spaces, clean lines and high-quality materials. Suitable for productions with an art, culture, design, luxury, architecture or Vienna-related context. Art Collection: Private art collection with a focus on Classical Modernism, Pop Art and contemporary art. Artists represented include Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Marc Chagall, Edvard Munch, Paul Klee, Yves Klein, Niki de Saint Phalle, Georg Baselitz, Gerhard Richter, Mark Rothko and Roy Lichtenstein. Historic façades, the museum entrance, courtyard and sculpture area allow for arrival shots, transition scenes and exterior filming with a discreet urban Viennese atmosphere. Filming Times / Restrictions: Filming is generally only possible outside museum opening hours. Preferred filming day: Tuesday, as this is the museum’s regular closing day. The courtyard closes at 10:00 p.m.; this must be taken into account for access restrictions, set-up, dismantling and logistics. Residents and private individuals live in the surrounding building; noise, lighting, night work and larger technical set-ups must therefore be coordinated in advance and kept within agreed limits. Production / Logistics: Vehicle access via Hanuschgasse 3. Deliveries, loading areas, technical set-ups, power requirements, crew routes, material storage, closures and security concepts must be coordinated in advance. Due to the presence of artworks, strict requirements apply regarding art protection, climate, lighting, touch protection, insurance and supervision. Filming in the exhibition spaces, Tea Room, courtyard and ancillary areas is subject to location approval and conservation requirements.
