42nd Round Table

At the 42nd round table of the Vienna Film Commission, Andreas Scholz and Angelika Drazdal informed about the general conditions for shooting in the area of ​​responsibility of Wiener Linien.

Filming always has to be officially announced and may be accompied by an employee of Wiener Linien for an extra fee. Shootings are possible from 9:00am to 2:30pm and after 6:00pm. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays shootings can be granted all day long after 9:00am. The use of lights, dolly, crane, etc. are only possible when the trains are out of service.

Requests for filming permits must be made at least five working days before the start of the shooting, while location visits must be made at least 14 days before the shooting date. For more complex turning projects, a lead time of at least three to four weeks should be calculated. The costs depend on the requirements. For students there is a discount of 30%.
